Biomimicry in-company training

Biomimicry in-companyTogether with Biomimicry Centre and NI-academy we run in-company training that fits your organisation's ambitions and your people's need to learn — in-company or at an inspiring venue of your choosing. Our formats are built on nature, so that the material reaches your people in an enjoyable, energising way.

What we offer

Our range of in-company training is wide. Subjects include:

  • Group behaviour and change management (the beast in your organisation)
  • Natural innovation
  • Modern leadership
  • Developing vision and strategy with the values compass
  • Process facilitation (train-the-trainer)
  • Biomimicry in general

We also organise complete team days for groups large and small. Themes include:

  • Kick-off programmes with nature as the source of inspiration
  • Team outings built around learning from nature
  • Biomimicry inspiration sessions

Alongside the intensive knowledge sessions we build in moments for enjoyment, such as:

  • Guided walks in nature with experts — seeing things from another perspective
  • A run-around quiz, testing the team's knowledge in a light, spontaneous way
  • Who is the biomimicry mole? A hunt for the treasure — but watch out for the mole…
  • GPS trails: find nature's treasures by following the coordinates

We always build a bespoke programme to meet what you are after, and we can put an offer together in Dutch or in English.

How we work

In a first phone call our consultant maps out what your people need to learn. An experienced trainer then comes to meet you, without obligation, and talks through your wishes and goals in detail. On the basis of that conversation the trainer writes a tailored proposal.

If you click with the trainer and the proposal matches the result you want, preparation begins. To connect fully to daily practice, participants are interviewed beforehand — which is what lets us deliver genuinely bespoke work throughout.

Over the course of the programme your people develop the competences and skills they need, and apply them directly in practice. Afterwards we help participants with advice and practical tools, so that what they have learned holds up over the longer term.

Venues

We offer training at your own premises and elsewhere. Venues we use often include Artis in Amsterdam, Blijdorp in Rotterdam, Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen and GaiaZOO in Kerkrade.

Clients

Clients we have run in-company training for include ABN AMRO, the Dutch Tax Administration, DSM, DHL, a number of municipalities, ProRail, Rijkswaterstaat, SABIC and Vebego.
